SURF INFORMATION
The break at Medewi is a long righthander that breaks over a sand and rock bottom. While it is a long ride it isn't as hollow as Padang Padang and other breaks. Early morning is the best time to surf this wave on the mid to high tide. Medewi Beach is home to a mellow righthander that works best in a 2 metre swell on mid to high tide. Just make sure your there early before the trade winds pick up.

If you are a non-surfer, there is heaps of time to just relax and enjoy your stay at Medewi. Tours, car or bike rentals can also be organised from the hotel if you are wanting to get out and about and explore. Why not check out the local markets ?

Medewi Beach
A very long left point break, peeling gently for hundreds of metres along round river stones. Perfect for longboards and best at mid tide from 4-8ft. Swell size here is usually larger than Kuta depending on swell direction.

Balian Beach
Peaceful rivermouth left and right, breaking over a rock and sand bottom - the river water here is some of the cleanest in Bali! About 1/2 hour down the road from Medewi towards Kuta.
